Adults: The typical starting dosage for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is 20 mg once daily.
Duodenal Ulcers: 20 mg once daily after the morning meal for up to 4 weeks.
Helicobacter pylori eradication: 20 mg twice daily with appropriate antibiotics.
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Starting dose is 60 mg once daily, with possible adjustments based on the patient's needs.
Dosage may vary based on the condition being treated, the patient's age, and response to treatment. Always follow the dosage prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Administration: Take Rabeprazole by mouth, usually once daily, with or without food as directed by your doctor.
Swallow whole: Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet. Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects.
